Our Green Shop features ecologically considered products from a group of specialist suppliers. Shopping for these products is through our site and subject to the terms and conditions outlined below under redeeming Green Points (“Points”).
N.B. unless you have joined as a member and log in before closing your shopping transaction, Green Points cannot be earned or redeemed for transactions in "Our Green Shop".
Joining Green Rewards
You can apply to join as a Member of the Green Rewards' Points collection programme ("Green Rewards") by completing the online registration. By applying to join with Green Rewards you accept these rules.
Members must be over 18 and have a resident UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man address and valid email address. We will use the contact details from your registration to communicate with you and you are responsible for keeping your personal information up to date. An Account cannot be in joint names. Multiple Accounts cannot be pooled or Green Points ("Points") transferred to another Account.
We may refuse to join an applicant for any good reason.
Once the registration process is completed we will set up a Green Rewards Account in your name and your email address will be your unique identifier. You can then earn Points on various purchases. We will record on your Account any Points you earn or redeem.
Green Rewards Member Rules
These Rules (including our Policy on Privacy and Data Protection) govern the collection and use of Points and set out the terms of the contract between Green Rewards Limited ("us/we") and each Member ("you").
Earning Points
Green Rewards has Partners through whom you can earn Points by buying their goods or services, or be awarded Points for some other reason. Partners determine the particular transactions on which Points can be earned and the number of Points to be earned. We will credit Points to your Account when one of our Partners tells us you have undertaken a relevant transaction with them, or that it has awarded a number of Points to you. To earn Points for a purchase made with a Partner you must log in to your Green Rewards membership account before starting the transaction. Points cannot be issued retrospectively. Partners will take different periods to notify us of Points to be credited and we are not responsible for any failure, delay or error by a Partner notifying us of Points to be credited. If a transaction on which Points are issued is cancelled, reversed or not completed, we will reverse the associated Points movement when instructed by the relevant Partner.
Transactions on which you earn Points are made directly with the relevant Partner and we have no responsibility for the delivery, standard, quality or otherwise of any goods or services received or supplied.
Redeeming Points
Green Rewards' Suppliers are companies with whom a Member can redeem Points to obtain goods or services ("Rewards"). These products are featured in Our Green Shop.
There is a set number of Points needed to obtain a Reward. You cannot redeem Points until they are credited to your Green Rewards Account. The process for redeeming Points is explained on our website. You may be issued with a voucher for a particular Reward item or experience.
All Rewards are subject to availability. Transactions on which Points are redeemed are made directly with the relevant Supplier and we have no responsibility for the delivery, standard, quality or otherwise of any goods and services received or supplied or the failure of a Supplier to honour a redemption or make a specific Reward available.
Rewards are subject to all applicable legal rules and the terms and conditions (including booking requirements, cancellation restrictions, return conditions, warranties and limitations of liability) of the Supplier. Redeemed Points cannot be reused. If a transaction on which Points are redeemed is cancelled, reversed or not completed, we will reverse the associated Points movement when instructed by the relevant Supplier.
Maintaining Your Account
You will receive regular updates of your Points balance. You will also be able to see your latest Points balance, and details of Points earned and redeemed, in the "My Account" section of our website. We will correct a Green Rewards Account if it is shown to our reasonable satisfaction to be wrong.
• Points have no expiry date.
• Points have no cash value.
You may close your Green Rewards Account at any time by notifying us. Any Points balance will be lost when you close your Account.
In the event of the death of a Member we will transfer Points to another Green Rewards Account if adequate evidence of the deceased Member's legal representative's authority is given to us.
We may close your Green Rewards Account if you have not earned or redeemed any Points for a continuous period of at least 12 months. We may also, on notifying you, immediately suspend or terminate your membership rights, and/or close your Green Rewards Account, if you breach these Rules; if we reasonably believe that you have dealt with Points in a manner not permitted by these Rules or any applicable Partner's terms and conditions; if we reasonably believe you have been involved in any theft from or misconduct in connection with us, any Partner or Supplier; if you supply false or misleading information to us or if you are abusive or offensive to any member of our staff.
Points can only be earned, held, transferred or redeemed as set out in these Rules. Any other use, award, sale, exchange or transfer of Points, or attempt to do so, is a serious breach of these Rules. Any Points not earned and held in accordance with these Rules will be invalid and cannot be redeemed for Rewards. Any such Points on a Green Rewards Account will be deducted and, if they are redeemed, we will ask the Supplier to cancel the relevant Rewards and we may take other appropriate action.
You are responsible for the security of your Green Rewards Account and the log in details used to access your online Account information. You should notify us immediately if you suspect that someone else knows your log in details so that we can suspend your Account pending issuance of new log in information. We will not be responsible if any of your Points are redeemed by someone else in possession of your log in details. Vouchers are not personal and will not be reissued if lost.
Collection and Use of Data
Our Policy on Privacy and Data Protection (which incorporated into and forms part of these Rules) sets out the information that we will gather on you, how this information will be used and who it may be shared with. It can be accessed on our website. We will comply with our Privacy Statement. If you notify us that you do not wish to receive marketing information from us or be contacted by us for promotional purposes in connection with Green Rewards and/or by our Partners or Suppliers we will comply with such request and pass on any relevant request to our Partners and Suppliers. If for any reason we need to transfer personal information outside the European Union for a specific purpose, we will ensure that it is treated to UK standards.
If we sell or transfer Green Rewards to another company we may transfer all of our rights and obligations under these Rules without any further consent and may disclose or transfer all information we hold about you to a prospective or actual new owner. Such a disclosure or transfer will not alter your rights in respect of the use that can be made of your information by such other company.
Miscellaneous
We may make changes to these Rules and will give you as much notice as we reasonably can. Earning or redeeming Points on a Green Rewards Account after such a notification will constitute acceptance of the revised Rules.
We may suspend or terminate Green Rewards but will give you as much notice as we reasonably can before we do so. If this happens all Green Rewards Accounts will be suspended or terminated.
These Rules set out all of the terms of our contractual relationship with you and will prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. These Rules are governed by English law.
We will only be liable to you if you suffer loss as a result of a breach by us of these Rules and, if so, our sole liability will be to credit your Account with any Points which have been wrongly deducted or should have been credited but were not. These Rules shall not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
