I bought this to check out my fridge and freezer temperature, hoping to be able to save energy, money and the environment by turning my thermostats down. My fridge was running at 1 degree centigrade - there's no need for it to be any lower than 3 degrees, so I adjusted my thermostat accordingly. I was also able to turn down my freezer from -22 to -18 degrees centigrade. Now I've set the temperatures, I have passed my thermometer onto a friend! hide
