I bought the Power Monkey Explorer for when I go away - to save me taking a multitude of different adapters and also to make use of the free power source out there - the sun!

Charge the battery part with the solar panel (I don't like to admit I was in a sunny, beachy place when I first used this - I did offset the carbon created by flying - not good, but better) and then you are away. Didn't charge my ipod or my phone with anything else the whole holiday.

I fully intend to use it on my UK based holiday this year too!

If the sun is not strong enough for charging, the battery can be charged through the mains and used as an emergency charger. hide
