Eco Pro Torch
The Eco Pro Torch utilises state of the art LED technology and an eco friendly winding mechanism to create 30 minutes of a high intensity beam from every 1 minute of winding. A full wind gives an incredible 8 hours of continuous light and you will never need to replace a bulb or battery. So there are no future costs and guaranteed light when you need it.
Five extremely bright LED 's give 15,000mCd's each. That's 75 candles' power of brightness in total and each LED has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours! Any unused charge remains stored in the built-in nickel hydride power cell. Japanese NICHIA LEDs are virtually indestructible. Impact resistant and splash proof this torch is ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
An integrated mobile phone charger is also included, which gives approximately 2 minutes of talk time on a dead phone for every 1 minute of winding! (Lead and adapters included to suit most popular phone models).

This was the first 'wind-up' product that I had bought. I chose this product because of the good name that Trevor Bayliss designs have and I haven't been disappointed .
A good beam, particularly good down a very dark country lane at Christmas! The beam is best in the first 10 minutes of winding and is excellent during the winding.
This particular torch also charges small handheld appliances which is useful, although I need to get the correct fitting for my mobile.
The winding is quite noisy, but doesn't hinder the product working - but this is a small gripe! hide
