Lake District Walking Experience
Leave behind your day to day lives back at the office and go on a hike around the beautiful Lake District. Not many people know of Scafell Pike but at 978 metres (3,209 feet), it is the highest mountain in England! To give you an idea of how high Scafell Pike is, Canary Wharf, the tallest building in the UK, stands at 235 metres (771 feet). This is a truly memorable and uplifting day of adventure which will start in a remote part of the Lake District and include some spectacular sights.
On the morning of your event you will meet your guide at Wasdale Head and will be given an introduction to the day. The proposed route on Scafell Pike is 5.5 miles and the duration of the walk is five to six hours, during this period you will be expected to ascend and descend 3,200ft carrying your own rucksack. After the event, an electronic photo presentation will be emailed to you as a memoir.
Whilst this activity is dependent on appropriate weather conditions, if the planned walk is not suitable an alternative will be offered except in extreme weather.
"There's nothing better than outdoor activities to reconnect with nature. Do check there is location (reasonably) near you so that your travel footprint isn't too much of a extra cost - for the planet that is."
