Specially designed to work with the Solar Monkey, the new Solar Nut reserves redundant solar energy so that if a sunny day turns cloudy whilst you're using your Solar Monkey, charging of your device is not affected.
Solar Nut can also be used as a stand alone emergency charger, providing you with up to a quarter of mobile phone power or at least 15 minutes of talktime. To make the most of your Solar Nut, recharge it (via Solar Monkey) at least once every 2-3 months!

Robust. When you are travelling, camping, lying around in the park in summer, the second most important attribute of your solar charger is it's capacity to be dropped, trodden on, sat on. In my experience, the Solar Monkey leads the market in this respect.
The key attribute, of course, is it's ability to generate power. In this respect, of the more portable products on the market, each seems to deliver a roughly comparable charge. I'm looking forward to further innovation in solar chargers, because whilst the juice you do get is disproportionately exciting, it feels like there should be more to squeeze.
Either that, or our increasingly demanding array of gadgetry needs to start getting much more energy efficient.
