Bamboo Hammering Clock

This colourful handmade clock face has 12 coloured bamboo pegs which can be hammered using the bamboo mallet. Helping chlidren develop hand -eye co-ordination, numeracy skills and time recognition.

Unlike wood, which can take 30-60 years to grow into a re-harvestable resource under the FSC re-planting schemes, bamboo needs only 3 - 5 years. This is due to the fact that bamboo is actually a grass and it can continuously replenish itself by sending up new shoots through its extensive root system."
