The ocean covers 72% (and rising) of this small planet and is home to most of the globe's living matter and biodiversity. We know that life in the ocean greatly affects life on land, yet most of us know very little about the ocean.

On a daily basis, we do any number of things without being aware of the greenhouse gases that are given off as a result of them. From the morning cuppa with toasts, to that imported steak bought on the drive home from work, almost everything we buy has its carbon host.
