Local Green Points is a scheme designed to reward households for doing more recycling and reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill. If you live in an area with a Local Green Points scheme then you can benefit from a wide range of discounts and offers provided by our Retail Partners on a high street near you, as well as earning a small thank you in Green Points for your recycling efforts.

To take up the discounts and offers provided by our Retail Partners on your high street, you'll need to show them your Local Green Points Activation Card which we've sent you in the post. You'll be able to see the wonderful range of discounts and offers available to you on our website.

And as a small thank you for recycling more and not throwing out as much stuff, we're also giving you some Green Points. You can put these Green Points towards something for yourself or donate them to one of the charity projects in your area that has been selected by a local Community Leaders Panel.

The Green Points your household gets is based on the total recycling and total waste saved in your area, so the more you recycle and the less you throw out then the more you and your neighbours will earn - so spread the message and get your neighbours recycling!
